Update: p0.0.0 - Character Preview

The current build features a character preview system, where players can see the initial model that will eventually be used as the base for character customization.

For now, it’s a static model, providing a glimpse of the overall art style and aesthetic direction. It’s a small step, but an important one, laying the groundwork for a much larger system.

Next Steps: Building the Character Customization System

My focus now shifts to transforming the preview into a full-featured character customization system, which will take roughly 2-3 months to fully implement. This system will include:

  • Adjustable body features: height, build, and proportions, allowing players to create diverse avatars.
  • Facial customization: detailed options for shaping facial features, from eye size to jaw structure.
  • Hair and colors: different hairstyles, with various colors to choose from, to personalize each character.
  • Clothing and accessories: an array of outfits and items that players can mix and match to create their unique look.

The base system in p0.0.0 will evolve gradually, and I’m focusing on making sure the customization process is both smooth and visually impressive

Development Timeline and Updates

While it’s going to take around 2-3 months to complete the character customization system, I’ll be sharing regular updates every month to keep everyone in the loop about progress. Each update will highlight new features and improvements, and I’m eager to get feedback as the system evolves.
